Stripes and Stars

Former @UVAMensTennis All-American Thai-Son Kwiatkowski was one of a handful of select American professional tennis players invited to participate in the American Tennis Showcase this weekend at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The two-day event was a showcase of “some of the most promising tennis talent the USTA has to offer” that included a skills challenge on Friday night and match play on Saturday. Kwiatkowski was a member of the Stripes team that edged the Stars team by one point in the skills challenge. This is the offseason training period in professional tennis, with Kwiatkowski and the rest of the Hoos on the pro tours resuming competition in January.
