Hoos Down Under

Former @uvawomenstennis All-American Danielle Collins is playing in the Australian Open this week. It’s a big moment for Collins who advanced to the semifinals of last year’s Australian Open, but recently revealed she’s battling rheumatoid arthritis. In recent weeks, Collins advanced to the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Brisbane International and Adelaide International, respectively, this month in preparation for the Open. She just dropped a three-set battle with world No. 1 Ash Barty in the semifinals of the Adelaide tournament.
