As you know from our many entries on this blog, former @UVAFootball standout Chris Long is dedicated to bringing clean water to Africa through his Waterboys foundation. The Waterboys have also turned their attention to helping people closer to home. HometownH2O, an offshoot project of The Waterboys, is working to help bring clean running water to some of the 1.5 million people in our own country that do not have it. This week, they made that possible for a family in Suffolk, Va. Check out the story here as reported by 13News Now, the ABC affiliate in the Hampton Roads area.
