@UVAFootball alum Anthony Harris has received the “Franchise Tag” from the @Vikings. Harris, a 2014 @UVA alum, signed as a undrafted free agent in 2015. Harris tied for the NFL lead in interceptions in 2019 and was rated the No. 2 safety in the NFL per Pro Football Focus since the 2017 NFL season. Former UVA All-American @UVAMensLax player Zed Williams is making the jump from Major League Lacrosse (MLL) to the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). He was drafted in the first round, fifth overall, by the @PLLWhipsnakes in this week’s PLL Entry Draft, which is for current professional lacrosse players looking to play in the PLL this season. Williams is a 2017 graduate from UVA and scored 75 career goals and 131 career points during his four-year career in Charlottesville. Williams was previously a third round pick in the 2017 MLL Draft by the Rochester Rattlers.
