@UVAWomensHoops standout Jocelyn Willoughby became a first round draft pick on Friday night. Willoughby, the ACC’s leading scorer, was the first player from the league to be taken in the 2020 draft. She was selected by Phoenix as the No. 10 overall pick, and then was dealt to the New York Liberty less than an hour later. The embedded tweet includes the moment when she found out, via Zoom, that she had been drafted.
