Hoos on the Move
“I will forever cherish the relationships forged between my teammates, coaches, and staff. I believe it is time for me to step away and begin a new chapter in my career. I will always look back on my time spent in Annapolis with a smile.” – Ryan Tuckerhttps://t.co/mE6WFur54O

Former @UVAMensLax captain Ryan Tucker officially retired from playing this week. Tucker most recently was playing Major League Lacrosse (MLL) with his hometown Chesapeake Bayhawks. The 2015 UVA graduate spent five seasons in the MLL between the Bayhawks and the Boston Cannons, who drafted him fourth overall in 2015. Tucker capped his professional career as he helped lead the Bayhawks to the 2019 MLL championship. Tucker was an All-American at UVA and played for the Cavaliers from 2012-15. Read more about his career here. We are quite partial to the photo that @UVAMensLax tweeted to mark the occasion, so we have used it for today’s header.
Double Hoos
The Cavalier Daily had this fun article about twin @UVASquash brothers Andrew and William Braff. They also chatted with @UVAWomensLax’s Olivia Schildmeyer, who is also a twin, with her sister opting to be a club lacrosse player at Georgetown.
