#HoosCare
My #HoosYourHero is Gonza, an essential worker at Harris Teeter Hollymead. No matter what, he always has a smile on his face and takes time out of his day to talk to you. Thank you to Gonza and all the essential and healthcare workers for all you do, you are #therealheroes pic.twitter.com/l2mBo0Clwb

We’ve been sharing a lot of posts from our student-athletes as they change the names on their jerseys to honor #TheRealHeroes. @UVAMensHoops’ Austin Katstra used the opportunity to thank a very essential worker that was a little different than most of the other posts. Thank you, Austin, for remembering the other essential workers out there.

Live Sports
This weekend, former @UVAWomensTennis All-American Danielle Collins will join @UVABaseball alum Tyler Wilson in a very, very elite group: professional athletes actively competing in their sport. Collins is competing in the MyUTR exhibition in Florida and presented by Tennis Channel. It is techinically not a sanctioned tour event, so the organizers are taking advantage of the opportunity to use an experimental scoring system. Players will have to retrieve their own balls and towels. Collins will be competing along with Amanda Anisimova, Allison Riske and Ajla Tomljanovic. Read more about the tournament here.
