Back in April, Jeff White wrote this piece about the NFLPA externship program. This week, the story of former @UVAFootball standouts Chris Peace and Eric Smith time as NASA interns has been making the news rounds, with the New York Giants writing this feature on the program and NASA itself telling the story here. If you don’t remember, click on any of the features to read about Peace and Smith’s three-day NASA program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
During these difficult times I would like to spread some positivity and love by giving a big thanks to Morgan Odle for working on the frontlines during COVID-19. I appreciate everything you do. Thank you and God Bless. ❤️ #Hoosyourhero pic.twitter.com/hDelQWM4BC

#HoosYourHero posts are back as more Cavaliers take to social media to thank frontline workers. Derek Devine chose to thank UVA’s own Kelli Pugh (associate AD for sports medicine who works directly with the football team as their athletic trainer).
A huge thank you to Kelli Pugh who has been working behind the scenes during the COVID pandemic to keep our football team healthy, and to prepare us for a healthy return.#HoosYourHero pic.twitter.com/4Tojs9wKrY
