Staying Safe While Playing Sports
Bennett Conlin of the Daily Progress chatted with some former Cavaliers who competed last week in tournaments. First, he checks in with some UVA soccer alums, Henry Kessler, Meghan McCool and Zoe Morse, who are playing in tournament while living in a “sports bubble”. He also checked in with former @UVAMensTennis player JC Aragone who created his own bubble, or at least his own socially-distanced tournament, down in Florida. Check out both stories (soccer linked here; tennis linked here) to get some insight into what the “new norm” looks like.
“I think the guys really enjoyed it. They all had amazing things to say."
Former #UVa men's tennis player JC Aragone recently put on tennis tournament in Miami that included five players that are ranked in the top 65 in the world.. https://t.co/JgNGd9k9FG pic.twitter.com/66VBXiIxwO
