I’ve been working toward this day for a long time! Since my childhood trips to Africa, I knew I was committed to helping others. I can do even more through the @BrogdonFamFnd! #equitableworld #advocacy #socialjustice #educationequality #cleanwater https://t.co/6LUbZpyLoW

Hoos Care
After teasing a major announcement last week, former @UVAMensHoops All-American and 2916-17 NBA Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon delivered on Tuesday, announcing the formation of the Brogdon Family Foundation which “seeks to create a more equitable world by empowering children, families, and communities to reach their potential and thrive”. It’s two main initiatives right now are Hoops4Humanity, which is working to bring clean water to people in need, and the JHA Education Project, which is partnering with Indianapolis Public Schools to “support educational achievement by focusing on literacy, mentoring, and providing high impact educational experiences for children”. USA Today had this feature story about Brogdon, his initiatives and life in the NBA bubble.
