Hoos with Trophies
Congratulations to a pair of former @UVAMensLax-ers, Mark Cockerton and Scott Hooper, whose Boston Cannons team won the Major League Lacrosse championship this last weekend. MLL began its season on July 18 and concluded it just eight days later. A round-robin series of games was scheduled to be followed by a championship showdown between the Cannons and the Denver Outlaws (with former Cavalier Ken Clausen working as their defensive coordinator). Read about the Cannons’ championship run here.
