@UVAWomensGolf junior Riley Smyth is tied for first place following the opening round of play at the 120th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. Hoo Wore It Best

The Kansas City Star is currently running a “Who Wore It Best” to determine who the top athletes were across all sports to wear Numbers 00-9 in Kansas City Sport history. As part of that competition, UVA women’s soccer alum and USWNT member Becky Sauerbrunn is one of the five players being considered for her time wearing No. 4 with FC Kansas City as she helped bring titles to the city in 2014 and 2015 and was named NWSL Defender of the Year both years.
