Hoos Care

With the NBA season over for the Indiana Pacers, former @UVAMensHoops All-American Malcolm Brogdon has turned his focus to community service. On Thursday, his Brogdon Family Foundation will be hosting an online fundraisers (and a radio-a-thon for those in the Indianapolis area) that will be the first major fundraiser of the JHA Education Project, one of the main initiatives of the foundation. As a press release from the Pacers explains: “Education was always something emphasized in Brogdon’s family. His grandfather and the namesake of the JHA Education Project, John H. Adams, became the nation’s youngest college president at the age of 29 in 1956. His mother Jann Adams, the Executive Director of the Brogdon Family Foundation, is an Associate Vice President at Morehouse College. So in starting his foundation, Brogdon wanted one pillar to be working with students in underserved communities.” For those wanting to bid on items in the online auction, CLICK HERE.
