CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.  – The Virginia Cavaliers (3-1) welcome the Air Force Falcons (3-2) to Klöckner Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Faceoff is set for 1 p.m. UVA is ranked No. 8 in this week’s USILA coaches poll and No. 6 in the Inside Lacrosse/Maverick media poll. Air Force is receiving votes in both polls.

PARKING
Parking for men’s lacrosse and baseball on Sunday is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the John Paul Jones Arena parking lots. Parking is also available at the Emmet/Ivy Garage.

Live stats will be available at VirginiaSports.com. The game will be televised live on ACCNX. Neah Lekan will call the play-by-play. ACCNX can be viewed on the WatchESPN app, or by logging onto ESPN.com/watch for participating TV providers that carry the ACC Network.
 
CAVALIER TIDBITS
• Virginia leads the nation in ground balls with 46 per game. UVA has led the nation in ground balls in six of the last 11 years, including the last three in a row. 
• Dox Aitken’s career 118 goals are the most in the nation among active midfielders. No other active midfielder has over 100 goals.
• Michael Kraus has at least one point in all 53 of his career games. That streak is tied for the longest active streak in the nation entering the weekend.
• Ian Laviano needs five goals to become the 18th Cavalier all-time to notch at least 100 career goals.

SERIES INFO
• Sunday marks the second all-time meeting between Air Force and Virginia in men’s lacrosse and the first since 2004.
• UVA and Air Force met on a neutral site at the University of Denver, which resulted in a 7-6 win by the Falcons. The game, which was part of the Pioneer Face-Off Classic, hosted by the University of Denver, was Virginia’s first-ever trip West.
 
AIR FORCE
• Bill Wilson is in his second full season as the head coach at Air Force after serving most of the 2018 season as the interim head coach.
• His Falcons come to Charlottesville with a 3-2 record, which includes wins over then-No. 5 Duke, Utah and St. Bonaventure.
• Brandon Dodd leads AFA with 11 assists and 17 points.
• Trey Lervick and Quincy Peene share the team lead with eight goals each.
• Braden Host is saving 58.0 percent of shots between the pipes and has posted a 10.41 goals against average.

Tickets at the gate will be $10 (reserved) and $8 (general admission).

UP NEXT
UVA goes on the road for the first time in 2020, heading to Providence R.I., to face the Brown Bears. The game is set to faceoff at noon and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
