Black History Month
Instead of looking into the past, this is a Black History Month milestone in the present. Yesterday, the UVA/UNC baseball game in Chapel Hill featured the first all-black umpiring crew to work a Power 5 or MLB game.
Closing Time
Stephen Schoch thought his career was over.
“My first thought was to cry,” he said. “I’ve seen ‘A League of Their Own,’ and I know Tom Hanks tells me not to cry."
But the @UVABaseball closer ultimately got a chance to play another year.
