25 years ago, @UVAWomensHoops head coach Tina Thompson was the first player selected in the very first WNBA draft. As part of its ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations, the league invited Thompson to be part of last night’s draft, sending her congratulations to this year’s first round pick.
