Final Exercises
The main story of the weekend was of course final exercises. The ceremonies were spread out over three days (Friday-Sunday) and were held at Scott Stadium, but the celebrations and traditional Walking of the Lawn were still as joyous as ever.

Becky Sauerbrunn continues to lead a bevy of Hoos in the women’s professional ranks as she and the Portland Thorns battled OL Reign (which also features former UVA women’s soccer player Kristen McNabb) as a featured game on Sunday night. The Reign one, but Sauerbrunn continued to show the toughness she showed on the grit with a big defensive stop for the Thorns.
