Since the @UVABaseball team’s College World Series run came to a close very, very early on Friday morning, we thought we’d pay tribute here with an all-baseball blog this morning. Here’s a Hoo-vs-Hoo and McCarthy-vs-McCarthy post. Fellow UVA alums and brothers Joe and Jake McCarthy are both playing in Triple-A in the PCL, and are currently playing one another. Jake was called up by the Reno Aces in time to start a six-game series against Joe’s Sacramento River Cats. Check out the tweet below as someone captured this moment of the two together.
