Hoos Care
In Sunday’s NCAA Second Round game, both the @UVAWomensLax team and the @UNCWLAX squad teamed up for a show of solidarity. After the first goal of the game, both teams raised their sticks to stand in solidarity with the Delaware State and Howard University women’s lacrosse teams. In a movement taking off across the sport, teams are having a moment of protest to stand in solidarity with the two teams, each of which endured racially-motivated incidents this season. This article from the Fayetteville Observer has details about both incidents.
