Hoos in the Pros
Congratulations to @UVAMensHoops’ Jay Huff who has been signed to an exhibit-10 contract with the LA Lakers. An exhibit-10 contract allows a player to play the preseason with a team and it can later be converted to a two-way contract. If the team does not convert the two-way contract, said player gets a bonus if he is sent back to the G League affiliate of the team. Huff appeared in 28 regular season games (all starts) for the South Bay Lakers last season, averaging 15.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. He appeared in four games for the LA Lakers during the 2021-22 season. You can check out a Jay Huff highlight reel below.
