Cavaliers Open Competition at NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 17 Cavaliers opened the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships with a 17th-place finish in the 200 medley relay event at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
The UVA quartet of Matt Brownstead, Noah Nichols, Tim Connery and August Lamb posted a time of 1:23.98 in the meet’s first event.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Thursday through Saturday’s prelim races start at 10 a.m. with finals scheduled for 6 p.m. On Day 2, Connery and Nichols will compete in the 200 IM, Brownstead will swim the 50 free and the 200 free relay team will be on the deck.
