IN HER OWN WORDS
I choose Virginia because:
It has an outstanding academic reputation and a very competitive hockey program. UVA had always been one of my top choices and after visiting other schools I knew that UVA was the school for me.

What impact can I see myself making in the UVA community:
I hope to bring a positive outlook to every activity and experience that I encounter at UVA.

Why do my teammates want me on their team during the most challenging situation or what I can offer the team in the most challenged good situation:
In challenging situations I will bring an enthusiastic attitude and a committed work ethic in order to accomplish our goal.

What makes me laugh?
Funny videos of dogs.

FROM COACH MADISON
Emily is a defender from WC Eagles club team where she played with Makayla Gallen, Annie McDonough. Adele Iacobucci and Lizzy Shim. What I like about Emily’s game is her strong skill set and her poised competitive demeanor. She will have to strengthen all distribution skills including an aerial pass but could challenge for minutes in a talented but lean back field. She will most likely be groomed for a future side back position.”
