Injuries have prevented him from proving such at our practices this Fall, and we wait with abated breath for his entrance. PERSONAL

• Son of Doug and Alison Duenkel
• Father Doug played football at UVA from 1987-92
• Mother Alison Duenkel played soccer at James Madison from 1990-91
• Older brother Justin played football (kicker) at UVA from 2019-23
• Sister Halle played lacrosse at JMU from 2016-20, where she won the 2018 national championship
• Recipient of St. John’s San Miguel Febres Cordero Academic Award for achieving an A-average (2022)
• Enjoys fishing and being outdoors

Why UVA?
“UVA is in my blood. For a long time, I have been going down to Charlottesville for different sporting events, especially football and lacrosse. I also cherish the education that I am going receive as well as the pure greatness of the lacrosse program and the tradition it carries. I fell in love with Grounds when I was young, and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.”
