Michael Kraus - Men's Lacrosse - Virginia Cavaliers

TIFFANY ON KRAUS
2020 – “Michael’s dodging style is both physical and evasive. He is eager to make contact with his defenseman, but also able to slip out of holds as he maneuvers to the goal.  Comfortable with a defender draped all over him, Michael posts up as an ever-improving dual threat due to enhanced feeding skills.  This two-time captain is adroitly balancing the demands of insuring the success of the program, his teammates and his own performance.” 2019 – “The consistent, pounding pressure he exerts on opposing defenses creates opportunities for himself and others. He has enhanced his feeding that is setting up his teammates with advantageous openings.”  2018 – “Winner of our 2017 Offensive MVP, a rarity for a first-year, Michael exploded onto the collegiate lacrosse scene.  With his signature hard-charging style, he created offense for himself and his teammates by drawing attention from multiple defenders.  Michael is a physical rider as well, intent on creating turnovers with both stick and body checks.  Under Sean Kirwan’s tutelage, Michael will not settle with his future development:  he is committed to improving upon his early impact.”
