TIFFANY ON MALONEY
2020 – Strength has always been a forte, proven again this fall with his team leading maximum on the squat movement.  Wade’s physical prowess and smash-mouth style of play are being shifted to the defensive side of the ball with his final season in Charlottesville.  Despite the significant learning curve, Wade has already demonstrated a thorough and extensive comprehension of our team defense’s systems and specific techniques. 2019 – “A healthy fall semester meant the opportunity to prove his smash-mouth dodging could be impactful with both hands as he matures into a more cognitive threat.”  2018 – “Demolition ball analogies abound as this man identifies the shortest direction to the goal and smashes anything and everything in this path.  Wade is a hard-charging midfielder, with a durable body to both deliver and endure punishing blows.  This dodging technique is a formidable challenge for opposing defenders and gives offensive coordinator Sean Kirwan another weapon in his arsenal.  Wade’s shooting accuracy has notably improved as well.”
