2024 – “Wills attacks the field and the weight room with a beast mentality. This no-nonsense approach equates to reserving smiles and compassion for later. He is here to battle. After missing some time due to an injury this fall, Wills has been making up for lost time with a vengeance, demonstrating to us he can make plays at both ends of the field. To date, most of Wills’ meeting and film study has been focused on offense. But the defensive side of the ball could also prove to be a strength of his as witnessed in the fall scrimmage.”

• Sidelined for part of his senior year due to hamstring injury

• Played defensive back for Haverford’s football team

PERSONAL

• Son of Tom and Susan Burt
• Father, Tom, captained the 1990 UVA men’s lacrosse team
• Has two older siblings, Tyler and Caroline
• Brother, Tyler, played squash at Colby
• Sister, Caroline, plays lacrosse at Yale
• Grandfather, Richard, played lacrosse at Maryland from 1951-55
• Enjoys playing golf and pickle ball
• Currently studying in UVA’s College of Arts and Sciences

WHY UVA?
“I grew up going down to UVA because my father attended. I fell in love with the school, and it was my dream to follow my father’s footsteps and play lacrosse for the University of Virginia.”
