Mikie Harmeyer
Mikie Harmeyer Pronunciation
TIFFANY ON HARMEYER
2025 – “The time is now: there is no more next year or other chance. Mikie is one of the best finishers around. Period. Our team knows this. Can he get himself in a position to prove this to the rest of the nation? Mikie is dangerous in the crease area: he has such a knack for finding the back of the cage with both conventional shooting techniques and his patented low-to-high heater. His teammates know to look for him if they want an assist.” 2024 – “Mikie covertly roams the opponent’s crease area, possessing a hunter’s mentality as he looks for the ideal chance to strike. One of our most diverse shooters, there is an extensive repertoire of release points he can unleash. Not many in college lacrosse can effectively drop their hands in tight quarters and consistently find the back of the cage, but Mikie does such time and time again. An attackman by trade, Mikie is ready to contribute in any manner that is asked of him: midfield, man-up or wherever.” 2023 – “The undersized sharp-shooting attackman is no longer fitting into the medium apparel here. Mikie returns to our program with a new body, with bulk and width that allows him to take a check with a smile and deliver a blow himself. Mikie has always had a knack for finding the openings in a defense and the courage to move in there despite the impending contact. He does well mixing up his shot placements, creatively delivering the ball on net.” 2021 –“Quick release to go along with shoot-first mentality … has the shooter’s eye, as in every shot is hitting the net … sophisticated hands, he can catch or pick up just about anything.”
