2016-17 SEASON – ITA National Team Indoor Champions, NCAA Team Champions

• NCAA All-Tournament Team at No. 4 Singles and No. 3 Doubles

• Won his last 13 dual singles matches of the season

• Advanced through qualifying to earn a spot in the main draw of the $25,000 Los Angeles Futures tournament. Picked up two wins in the main draw, including downing top-seeded Tommy Paul in the first round (1/7), to make it through to the quarterfinals
• Was the runner-up at the $25,000 Long Beach Futures after downing UVA teammate Carl Soderlund in the semifinals. He downed 2016 NCAA singles and doubles champion Mackenzie McDonald in the quarterfinals but fell to 2014 NCAA singles champion Marcos Giron in the final (1/14)

• NCAA All-Tournament Team (No. 3 Doubles)

• VaSID Men’s Tennis All-State First Team Singles
• Selected for the NCAA Singles Tournament, falling in the first round to Kentucky’s William Bushamuka
• 24-5 record in singles, including a 14-2 mark at No. 2, and 16-7 in doubles
• Was a perfect 9-0 in ACC singles matches until he fell 1-6, 7-6, 6-4 to Wake Forest’s No. 21 Petros Chrysochos, finished 11-1

• Ranked No. 27 in singles the fall, finished the season ranked No. 34
• During the summer, competed in four Futures tournaments in Belgium, advancing to the quarterfinals in De Haan (July 10) as well as making it to the round of 16 at the Denia Futures in Spain (July 24)
