Anthony Davis II
Anthony Davis joined the Virginia equipment staff in 2018 as an assistant manager. Davis is responsible for ordering, issuing, and overseeing all equipment needs for the Track and Field, Cross Country and Field Hockey teams. Along with those responsibilities, Davis oversees student managers and coordinating practice and game schedules.
Prior to arriving at Virginia, Davis received his bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State in 2016. During his time at Kennesaw State, Davis spent three years as the head manager for the baseball team before taking over as an Olympic sports equipment manager during his final year.
Davis moved on to Furman, where he spent a year as the football equipment intern, working with equipment while assisting with oversite of a staff of six student managers.Davis went on to spend a year and a half at Connecticut, working as an equipment room intern. In that role, he supported the softball, baseball, men’s and women’s track, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, women’s lacrosse, and women’s rowing teams, as well as overseeing six student managers.
Davis also assisted with equipment and game day operations for men’s and women’s basketball during his time at Connecticut.
Davis currently resides in Charlottesville with his fiancé Ashley and son Tre’.
