Bill Maisannes

Bill joined the Foundation team in March of 2022 as its database manager and business analyst. In this role, he is responsible for database management and analysis, gift processing and reporting, and collaborating with external vendors and units at UVA.

Bill moved to Charlottesville in 1984 and attended Tandem Friends School. He then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in philosophy with minors in religious studies and music. He began his advancement career in 2006 with the Office of Engagement, supporting UVA Clubs, Cavalier Travels, and Lifetime Learning. Since then, he has managed databases for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation (Monticello) and Greenwich Country Day School. Bill is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR).
