Joe Kuykendall

Joe Kuykendall joined Virginia in 2019 as a Business Analyst and was promoted to Director of Business Operations in 2022. Prior to his time at Virginia, Kuykendall was the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at Mercer University from 2016-2017 and then went on to intern with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Kuykendall graduated from James Madison University in 2016 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management while minoring in General Business and Sport Communication. He also served as the Men’s Basketball team manager. In 2019, Kuykendall graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst with his MBA and Master’s in Sport Management.
