Kristie Kintner joined the Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF) in 2002, bringing experience in executive administration and design from her previous role as an executive assistant and CAD designer at Commonwealth Recreation, Inc., a Virginia-based playground and skate park distributor.
In her role, she oversees single-game ticket and parking operations for football, basketball, and baseball while serving as a key liaison between the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office and the VAF. She plays an integral role in donor benefit fulfillment, priority seating and parking strategy, and supporting the online selection processes. Additionally, she assists with ticket and parking assignments for major athletic events.
Beyond ticketing operations, Kristie works with donors, focusing on donor engagement and securing support for student-athlete scholarships. She also provides critical operational support for the annual giving program and coordinates donor stewardship efforts. Collaborating with teams across Virginia Athletics, she ensures a seamless experience for VAF donors and ticket members.
Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Kristie and her husband, Nathan, a skilled ceramic tile contractor, now call Virginia home. They have a son, Walker.
