Emily Buccigross

Emily Buccigross is in her first season as an Athletic Trainer with Virginia’s tennis and squash programs.

Buccigross came to UVA after completing her master’s degree in Sport Pedagogy from Baylor University in May 2022. While at Baylor, she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the men’s tennis program.

A native of Shelton, Connecticut, Buccigross earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina. During her time in Columbia, she worked with the Gamecocks’ baseball, football and track & field teams.

Buccigross also completed an athletic training internship with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2019.
