Sarah May

Sarah May joined the athletics department’s business office in 2013 as an assistant business manager. In 2020 she was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Business Operations.

She supports the financial reporting responsibilities for the business office. Prior to joining the staff at UVA, May spent two years as the budget administrator for athletic programs at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. She managed all administration and sports teams’ budgets at Agnes Scott. She directed all revenue generating operations, including security, facility rentals, rental scheduling, contract procurement, staff scheduling and invoicing.

May was also the assistant volleyball coach at Agnes College from 2010 to 2012. She previously served as the assistant volleyball coach at Francis Marion University from 2008 to 2010.

May graduated from Piedmont College (Ga.) in 2008 with a degree in business administration. She completed her master’s degree in business administration from Francis Marion in 2010.
