Lindsay Rahynes
Lindsay Bentley Rahynes joined the Virginia Sports Medicine department in the fall of 2024 and works as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Cavaliers Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving teams. Rahynes came to UVA after working three years at Virginia Tech as the Director of Sports Medicine for Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving.
Prior to working at VT, Rahynes served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Longwood University working with women’s basketball, softball, and cross country. Rahynes also spent a year at the University of Kansas as the Athletic Training Fellow for softball.
Rahynes graduated with her Masters in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida, where she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She received her Bachelors in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Rahynes resides in Charlottesville with her husband, Delvin and son, Hudson
