Whitney Dooley

Whitney Dooley joined the Virginia Athletics Foundation in March 2022. In this role, she provides gift reporting internally and to the University, analytics, and database management. In addition, she is responsible for invoicing, accounts payable, and various other accounting functions.

A native of Roanoke, Va., Whitney earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia in 2011, her master’s in nonprofit management from Johns Hopkins University in 2018, and is currently completing a master’s in accounting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the VAF, Whitney worked in annual giving and stewardship at the UVA Alumni Association and previously worked in development and marketing at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc.

Whitney lives in Crozet with her husband, Johnathon.
