Log in to your UVASHOTS account above to request or claim your free student ticket to Football and/or Men’s Basketball games or to purchase student guest tickets (student guest tickets are based on availability).

UVA students earn Sabre Points by attending home athletics events to provide additional entries into the lottery process for admission to home men’s basketball games.

Earning Sabre Points:

  • To receive your Sabre Points at ticketed events (Football, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Men's Lacrosse, select Volleyball and Wrestling at JPJ), be sure to scan your Student Athletics Pass at the gates. 
  • To receive your Sabre Points at non-ticketed events, be sure to scan your Student Athletics Pass at the Marketing table inside the main gates.
  • Sabre Points will not be retroactively applied.
  • Students who check in and immediately leave an event will be subject to the loss of Sabre Points for that event.
  • Passes will not be scanned and points will not be awarded after halftime.
  • Sabre Points are not awarded for attending Men's Basketball games.

FOOTBALL Ticket Terms and Conditions:

  • Student tickets and seating are first-come, first-served at Scott Stadium.
  • Students may return their ticket until kickoff with no Sabre Rewards penalty.
  • Students attempting to enter Scott Stadium with a ticket belonging to another student will be denied entry and both are subject to having ticket privileges revoked for the remainder of the season.

MEN’S BASKETBALL Ticket Terms and Conditions:

  • Each student is assigned a student group with a designated entry time based upon Sabre Points.
  • Students who claim a ticket but later decide not to attend the game for whatever re
  • ason must return their ticket online no later than 12 p.m. the day prior to game day to avoid losing Sabre Points and allow another student to attend.
  • Students who return their ticket after 12 p.m. the day before, but before tip-off on game day will lose one Sabre Point.
  • Students who do not attend the game and fail to return their ticket will lose two Sabre Points.
  • Students attempting to enter John Paul Jones Arena with a ticket belonging to another student will be denied entry and both are subject to having ticket privileges revoked for the remainder of the season.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Student tickets are non-transferable and subject to Apple Binding. Students attempting to share their ticket(s) will be denied entry and are subject to having ticket privileges revoked for the remainder of the season.
