2024 VIRGINIA BASEBALL PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

Season-Long Promotions

EVERY GAME

  • Kids get in FREE! Up to 4 Youth GA tickets can be claimed for FREE with the purchase of 1 Adult GA ticket! Offer valid online only.
  • Free baseball Bingo with one winner a game and one season-long winner, grand prize to be announced.
  • Free season poster giveaway
  • Grit Coffee Home Runs! If UVA hits a home run in the 5th inning, all fans receive a free small coffee from Grit Coffee (To be redeemed at any Grit coffee location the next day)
  • The Markets at Tiger Fuel 3 up and 3 down promotion! If a UVA opponent goes down in order in the third inning, everyone in attendance gets a free sandwich (to be redeemed at any Markets at Tiger Fuel location at designated time)

FRIDAYS: UVA Student Promotions – Fridays

SATURDAYS: Local School System Days and Cavman’s Crew Days

SUNDAYS: Youth Days featuring:

  • Inflatables behind the left field bleachers
  • Face painting or balloon artist (varies per game)
  • Post-game running of the bases and autographs with the team!
  • Ben & Jerry’s Home Runs! If UVA hits a home run in the 2nd inning, all fans receive 2 free scoops of ice cream! (To be redeemed at the Barrack’s Road Shopping Center location the following Monday- Tuesday; must show ticket to redeem; against ACC opponents only)
  • Select youth in attendance will be selected at random to be interviewed by the in-stadium host, be featured on the videoboard, and much more! (Parent or Guardian must be present)

Wake Forest Series (March 15-17)

 Friday, March 15: It’s Tacky Tourist Day! There will be in-game videoboard elements and music all about traveling, just in time for Spring Break! This game will be a Sabre Rewards event for UVA students, including a free Hawaiian Shirt giveaway to the first 500 students, to be given out by the left-field bleachers.

Saturday, March 17: It’s Little League Day! Little Leaguers are invited to join Virginia Baseball as we celebrate the life of Calvin Ness. There’s a youth t-shirt giveaway to first 1,000 kids, 8th grade and under, to be given out by the left-field bleachers.

Sunday, March 18: Youth Day is back! There’s inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, chalk drawing, bubbles, and post-game kids running of the bases and autographs with the team, presented by Sticks Kebobs! The first of five sets of 2024 Virginia Baseball trading cards will be given out to the first 500 fans, at the marketing table.

North Carolina Series (April 4-6)

Thursday, April 4: It’s Mustache Day! There will be in-game videoboard content and games all about mustaches! This game will be a Sabre Rewards event for UVA students, including a free pizza giveaway to the first 500 students, to be given out by the left-field bleachers.

Friday, April 5: There will be a free Virginia Baseball Tumblers giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, located at the marketing table!

Saturday, April 6: Youth Day is back! There’s inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, chalk drawing, bubbles, and post-game kids running of the bases and autographs with the team, presented by Sticks Kebobs! The second of five sets of 2024 Virginia Baseball trading cards will be given out to the first 500 fans, at the marketing table.

Georgia Tech Series (April 19-21)

Friday, April 19: Celebrate Earth Day at the Dish! There will be a Virginia Baseball reusable tote bag giveaway to the first 1,000 fans!

Saturday, April 20: Come on Baseball, Let’s Go Party! It’s Barbie Day at the Dish! There will be in-game videoboard content and games all about everyone’s favorite toy and the hit movie! This will be a Sabre Rewards Event for UVA students.

Sunday, April 21: Youth Day is back! There’s inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, chalk drawing, bubbles, and post-game kids running of the bases and autographs with the team, presented by Sticks Kebobs! The third of five sets of 2024 Virginia Baseball trading cards will be given out to the first 500 fans, at the marketing table.

NC State Series: Heroes Appreciation Weekend! (May 10-12)

Friday, May 10: It’s Military Appreciation Day at the Dish! University and local community military members and families are invited to the game with discounted tickets. There will be a military flyover, as well as static vehicle displays for fans to explore leading up to the concourse! In-game videoboard elements and recognitions will also honor our military heroes.

Saturday, May 11: It’s First Responders Appreciation Day at the Dish! University and local community first responders and families are invited to the game with discounted tickets. There will be static vehicle displays for fans to explore leading up to the concourse and in-game videoboard elements and recognitions to honor our first responder heroes.

Sunday, May 12: Mother’s Day Celebration and Youth Day! There will be in-game videoboard elements and programming to honor all moms in attendance. There’s also inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, chalk drawing, bubbles, and post-game kids running of the bases and autographs with the team, presented by Sticks Kebobs! The fourth of five sets of 2024 Virginia Baseball trading cards will be given out to the first 500 fans, at the marketing table. 

Virginia Tech Series: Commonwealth Clash Weekend (May 16-18

Thursday, May 16: There’s a Virginia Baseball Pillow Case ticket package available for fans to purchase!

Friday, May 17: It’s Bacon Day! There will be videoboard content and in-game elements all about the beloved breakfast food.

Saturday, May 18: It’s the last Youth Day of the season! There’s inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, chalk drawing, bubbles, and post-game kids running of the bases and autographs with the team, presented by Sticks Kebobs! The final, fifth set of 2024 Virginia Baseball trading cards will be given out to the first 500 fans, at the marketing table.
