CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – UVA’s, spring sports are almost done.. The year to date record is 258-149-7(63.2%).

Upcoming:
Wed,-Sun., June 2-5 Track & Field–NCAA Meet Boise

OUTDOOR TRACK: Coach: Randy Bungard, third season at Virginia, record: no dual meets. 1998-99 record, no dual meets. Last week, UVA was idle. This week, UVA has the NCAA Meet(Wed.-Sun., June 2-5 , at Boise).

MEN’S LACROSSE: Coach: Dom Starsia, seventh season at Virginia, record: 79-27. !999 record: 13-3. Last week, UVA played Johns Hopkins in the NCAA semi-finals(16-11 won) and Syracuse in the finals(12-10 won). It was UVA’s first NCAA crown since 1972. The season is now complete.

WOMEN’S ROWING: Coach: Kevin Sauer, fourth season at Virginia, record: 23-6. 1998-99 record, 8-1. Last week, UVA was at the NCAA Meet(finished second). The season is now complete.
