DURHAM (AP) – Hilary Howard scored 20 points and Michele VanGorp had 16 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots to lead No. 13 Duke to an 84-68 win over No. 22 Virginia on Monday night.
Georgia Schweitzer scored 14 and Peppi Browne added 11 for the Blue Devils(10-4, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won their sixth straight game.
Erin Stovall scored 25 points for the Cavaliers (8-4, 2-1).
The Blue Devils shot 53 percent from the field and had a 41-30 reboundingadvantage. They made 9 of 17 shots from 3-point range.
The Cavaliers shot 40 percent from the field and committed 16 turnovers.
