USA Under-19 Team Opens IFWLA World Championships With 22-4 Defeat Of Wales

ADLAIDE, Australia – Lauren Aumiller (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep/Universityof Virginia) was named the Player of the Match in the opening game of the1999 IFWLA Smarter than Smoking World Championships. Aumiller, the captainof the squad, scored six goals and added an assist as the USA team looks toadvance to the gold medal game.
Head Coach Wendy Kridel said, “I was pretty pleased with today’splay. I am always happy when you have so many different players score andto have so many assisted goals.”
The United States next plays Scotland on Sunday night.
