Drew McKnight scored with 2:21 left in the game to boost Virginia past Duke 10-9 in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Lacrosse Championships.

Duke’s Greg Patchak tied the score at nine by scooping in a loose ball with 2:44 to play.

McKnight scored the game winner off a fast break. He took an initial shot that was saved by goalie Matt Breslin, but recovered the rebound. McKnight took the ball behind the cage and beat Breslin after coming out from the right side.
