Charlottesville, Va. – University of Virginia head football coach Al Groh announced today changes in responsibilities for two members of his coaching staff.

Dan Rocco, who served last year as assistant head coach, outside linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator, will now focus his energies on his assistant head coach duties, while continuing as outside linebackers coach. Defensive line coach Mike London assumes the responsibilities of recruiting coordinator.

Groh said, “Dan did a marvelous job over the last 14 months coordinating our recruiting activities. His efforts were quite apparent by the high profile of the class that we have just recruited. However, I simply need more of his help in the administrative area so that I may continue to devote my time to coaching and recruiting. As a native Virginian with coaching experience at three state institutions, Mike London has a great appreciation for, and insight into, the talent base in the state of Virginia. This will allow us to take maximum advantage of the leadership and coaching skills of the staff.”
