Member Benefits
“We are extremely excited about the expansion of the Cavalier Kids Club,” stated Andrew Rader, Assoc. Athletic Director for Marketing and Licensing. “We feel it is important to provide children the opportunity to learn about and be a part of athletic programs. This club does so while offering an extraordinary value to families.” “Admission to all regular season home games for six premiere Virginia sports is something we are very pleased to be able to offer to children though this club” added Assistant Ticket Manager, Lisa Welch. “Regular youth admission to five of the six included sports is $3.” With over eighty regular season events included in the club admission fee of $35, kids are getting a great deal.” Rader continued to comment on the benefits the Cavalier Kids Club to Virginia Athletics through youth support, ” It means a great deal to our athletes to have the support of our youngest community members. They (Virginia athletes) love interacting with the kids and having a positive effect when given the opportunity.”
With its new look, the Cavalier Kids Club doesn’t intend to shed any of its benefits that have been enjoyed by women’s basketball fans over the years. Members will still have a special reserved seating section at all of the regular season home games, and will be encouraged to stand on the court and slap hands with the players as they run out for the game. Member-only prize drawings will take place at all home Virginia Women’s Basketball games and members will still have the opportunity to meet and greet the Virginia Women’s Basketball Players in a pre-season picnic and autograph session, sponsored by Giant. As an added bonus this season, members will receive a Virginia Women’s Basketball towel to cheer on the team.
