The University of Virginia, Hampton, James Madison University, Longwood College, Virginia Tech, Radford, and Shippensburg University will all participate in the Fall Classic held at The Park September 21-22. Games will be held on both fields throughout the weekend.

Virginia concluded the 2001-2002 season with a 45-22 mark and were 1-6 in the ACC standings.

James Madison University completed their first season of intercollegiate softball play with a 25-24 mark.

The Longwood Lancers had a final record of 37 and 14 overall and were19-3 in the CVAC.

Virginia Tech finished up their spring season with a 42 and 18 record and were 12-8 in the Big East.

Radford University ended their season with an overall record of 18-39 and a Big South record of 5-5.

Shippensburg University concluded their season with a 35-19 overall record and were 19 and 5 in the PSAC.

1:00 pm-UVa vs. Longwood

3:00 pm-Hampton vs. JMU

FIELD 2

9:00 am-Radford vs. Virginia Tech

11:00 pm-Virginia Tech vs. Shippensburg

1:00 pm-Shippensburg vs. Hampton

3:00 pm-Longwood vs. Radford

On Sunday, September 22, 2002:

FIELD 1

10:00 am-Virginia Tech vs. JMU

12:00 am-UVa vs. Virginia Tech

2:00 am-UVa vs. Radford

FIELD 2

10:00 am-Longwood vs. Hampton

12:00 am-Hampton vs. Radford

2:00 am-JMU vs. Longwood
