This marks the 10th consecutive season the Cavaliers have received a bid to the national playoffs and the 26th berth in school history.

The Cavaliers, currently ranked fifth with a 10-3 overall record, received a first round bye and will face the winner of a first round game between Cornell and Stony Brook in the quarterfinals. Virginia’s quarterfinal game will be played May 19 (Sunday) at Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.
