CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 6 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (14-3, 6-3 ACC) is set to face off with No. 4 Syracuse (13-4, 8-1 ACC) in the ACC Semifinal round on Friday (April 26) at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. First draw is set for 5 p.m. on ACC Network

The fifth-seeded Cavaliers advanced to the ACC semifinal following a historic win over fourth-seeded North Carolina on Wednesday (April 24). Syracuse earned the top seed in the tournament after clinching the ACC regular season title with an 8-1 conference mark. The Orange advanced to the semifinals following a 17-8 victory over ninth-seeded Louisville.

Friday’s game against Syracuse will be broadcast on ACC Network which is available for customers who have the ACC Network as part of their TV subscription. All-Session ticket books for the ACC Championships in both men’s and women’s lacrosse are available for $50 through the American Legion Stadium Ticket Office and can be purchased HERE. All-Session passes are good for all 10 games in the ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship as well as the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship, which will be held May 3-5 in Charlotte.

Individual Session tickets for the ACC Championship are available online HERE. One ticket gains admission for all the games on that respective day. Children two-years-old and under are admitted free of charge.

  • Virginia meets Syracuse for the 29th time in program history. Virginia trails the all-time series by a margin of 13-15
  • The teams last met on March 23 in Charlottesville when Syracuse came away with a 15-14 win that came down to a Delaney Sweitzer save on Jenna Dinardo’s shot in the final seconds.
