ATHENS, Ga. – University of Virginia second-year diver Andrew Barber (Vienna, Va./Marshall) finished 18th in the finals of the one-meter diving competition at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships Saturday (March 13) at the University of Georgia’s Gabrielsen Natatorium. Fourth-year Pete Amstutz (St. Joseph, Mich./St. Joseph) was 22nd on the one-meter board.

Barber posted a combined finals and prelims score of 554.40 in finishing 18th in the one-meter competition. He was 11th after the preliminaries with 300.40 points and scored 254.00 points in the finals. Amstutz tallied 265.10 points in the prelims to finish in 22nd place.

In Friday’s three-meter competition, Amstutz was 22nd with 296.20 points, while Barber placed 26th with 277.75 points.
