ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The University of Virginia wrestling team finished tied with West Virginia and Cal Poly SLO for 16th in the final team standings at the 2004 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships (March 18-20) at the Savvis Center. Virginia’s 141-pounder Scott Moore (51-1 overall, third place at Nationals) and 165-pounder Tim Foley (38-7 overall, eighth place at Nationals) guided UVa to a Top-20 finish in the team standings. Moore, the #1 seed at 141, finished 5-1 at Nationals and Foley, the #11 seed at 165, finished 4-3 at Nationals.
