CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –

The University of Virginia softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday (April 14) against Radford at The Park in Charlottesville has been postponed until Thursday (April 15). The first game will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at The Park. The doubleheader was postponed due to wet field conditions resulting from the inclement weather in central Virginia.

Virginia is currently 28-21 on the season and 1-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Cavaliers are coming off a doubleheader split with 22nd ranked Georgia Tech on April 10 in Atlanta. UVa won the first game 2-0, but dropped the nightcap by an identical 2-0 score.

Radford stands at 23-24 on the year and split a doubleheader with Appalachian State on April 7 in its last outing. Radford lost the first game 5-1, but won the nightcap 4-3 in eight innings.
